Two Year Hatha Yoga Teacher Training

This Nationally accredited teacher training program promotes growth and transformation through personal practice, in depth study and self-reflection.
By the time you graduate this 200-hr course, you will feel confident creating a yoga practice for yourself and others.

During the Two year Hatha yoga Teacher Training, you will
gain a deeper understanding of yoga philosophy, anatomy as it applies to yoga postures and movement, pranayama (breathing) techniques, meditation, chanting, the therapeutic applications of yoga and how to properly sequence and adapt poses for private sessions and group classes. |

Commitment
The Two Year Yoga Teacher Training is open to anyone who wishes to deepen their knowledge of Hatha Yoga. Homework assignments include pertinent reading material, journaling, personal practice, written excersises and most importantly, experiential hands on learning. Students must attend each weekend session. Any missed classes can be made-up in private with the instructor for an additional fee.
Upon completion of this course, students will receive a certification for 200+ hours of training and may apply to the Yoga Alliance for National Certification. Students who wish to receive yoga teacher certification must meet the following requirements:

- Complete all assignments and course work
- Attend all classes and make-up any missed classes
- Participate in all group teaching exercises
- Complete 20 hours of volunteer teaching and community service work
- Complete a written paper and final presentation project due at the end of the course

Dates and Times
This Two Year Teacher Training program will take place on the second weekend of each month, beginning Saturday, March 8th 2008. Class times are Saturdays and Sundays from 1-6 pm.

Cost
The cost of the course is $200 per weekend. Cost includes 2 private sessions with Laura.
A one-time $25 materials fee is also due at the start of the program.
(Cost of weekends with guest teachers and the final graduation retreat may vary slightly)
A non-refundable deposit of $200 will hold your space. Space is limited to 15 students.
